WE HAVE GREAT NEWS!
Most of our hemp products have been awarded the CPK certificate issued by KEZ ops, the first certification and control organisation accredited by the Czech Republic for natural and organic cosmetics.
Natural CPK certificate
The CPK certification mark was founded in 2007. The main objectives of this company are: to facilitate consumer awareness of the natural cosmetics market; health protection; and environmental protection. Any producer can apply for certification, and if the product meets the strict criteria, its packaging can bear the CPK logo, a guarantee of the true nature of the product. The certificate, based on the standards established by the French company Ecocert, guarantees that the product does not contain any synthetic compounds and substances harmful to the human body.
CPK certification is awarded by KEZ – Kontrola ekologického zemědělství ops in the Czech Republic, an independent inspection authority that also inspects organic farming.
One of the most important requirements to obtain this certification is that the product is manufactured exclusively from natural ingredients that were selected in an environmentally friendly way. Environmental protection and minimal impact on the environment are emphasised.
The product must not contain synthetic compounds or substances harmful to human health. The use of genetically modified ingredients, petroleum derivatives, synthetic aromatic substances, chemical preservatives, artificial colours, chemical UV filters and products of animal origin whose acquisition involved the death of an animal (substances such as lanolin, honey or milk) is also prohibited. . that is, those that do not depend on the death of an animal (they are an exception). Products cannot be tested on animals.
Like most foreign certifications, CPK pays attention not only to the composition of the products, but also to the manufacturing method and packaging materials. Respect for the carrying capacity of ecosystems and the recyclability of packaging is desired.
Certified organic CPK
Organic CPK is a stricter version of the CPK certificate. The basic criteria are not very different, but to obtain the “organic” version, the bio ingredients must make up at least 20% of the overall composition. The adjective “bio” guarantees not only the CPK certification standards (i.e. the ban on synthetic and harmful substances, the environmentally friendly approach, etc.), but also the ingredients produced by organic farming. The CPK organic certification is awarded by KEZ – Kontrola ekologického zemědělství ops in the Czech Republic, an independent inspection authority that also inspects organic farming.
“We are delighted to offer products with this certification to our customers.”
